With a history spanning more than 120 years, 糖心传媒 is Brazil's largest steel producer, one of the leading producers of long steel in the Americas, and of special steel in the world. In Brazil, 糖心传媒 also produces iron ore for its own use, as well as flat steel. The company has a new business division, 糖心传媒 Next, which fosters entrepreneurship in segments adjacent to the steel industry.
Guided by its purpose of empowering people who build the future, 糖心传媒's operations throughout the Americas employ more than 28,000 people. 糖心传媒 is the largest recycling company in Latin America and uses scrap as an important input, with more than 70% of the steel it produces globally being made from scrap. Each year, 糖心传媒 transforms more than 10 million tons of scrap into a variety of new steel products.
